Our kids need to know all about them—especially the jobs best suited to their interests, which are the best predictor of job satisfaction and success. Along with exposure to what’s possible, they also need a personalized path to their ‘future possible selves’: the reading skills they need for the jobs they develop an interest in, as well as other essential skills.
By extending learning to the home, CMSGO extends its legacy of innovation and equity by giving kids a personalized path to gainful, purposeful employment, while closing the literacy and opportunity gap for all.

RIASEC and Lexile®
Two Terms You’ll Start Using All the Time
Understanding RIASEC:
RIASEC is one of the most widespread and acclaimed assessments to help people discover the careers that are most likely to satisfy them. Through CMSGO, students will learn their three-letter RIASEC codes—whether they are Realistic, Investigative, Artistic, Social, Enterprising, or Conventional—and then explore and learn about the best-fit jobs for them.

What's Lexile?
It’s the measure of a student’s reading level—and the most-used literacy measure in the world. The higher one’s Lexile level, the stronger one’s reading ability. Every job requires a particular reading level. Just as CMSGO helps students zero in on careers, it also helps to develop the reading skills required by those careers. This is especially important now, as many kids are still catching up on their reading skills due to the learning loss caused by the pandemic.
