Dental hygienists work with dentists to help patients maintain good oral health.
Hygienists complete routine teeth cleanings, look for possible problems, and then help dentists deal with any health issues that relate to patients’ mouths, teeth, or gums. They then offer advice to clients about maintaining their oral health and preventing disease. They may provide other services like giving fluoride treatments or applying topical anesthesia.
